This was fantastic!! The best place we stayed on our entire italian holiday. Enrico was welcoming and helpful, our room was immaculate-clean and modern, looked main POI. Breakfast was really good- a selection of food and drinks. We had the best time here and would definitely book with Enrico again!

"Excellent stay in Florence"

I've been traveling for 50days so I was sick and tired of looking for accomodation...First time there was no comments this hostel on booking.com hence i didn't have a high expectation. However i stayed here for 5days on August. This is the newly renovated hostel so that the facilities are really clean and the room is huge, beautiful and comfortable to stay... The host (sorry, i didn't ask his name *^ -^*) is very kind and warm welcome. The location is very near from famous place such as San Lorenzo, Duomo and Ponte Vecchio just within 7minz by foot. I strongly recommend this hostel and if I have a chance to visit Florence again, 100% sure I'll stay here. One more thing, there are lots of restaurants and marts, especially found Korean restaurant here...kkk thank you for providing a excellent accomodation...

"Capodanno con i fiocchi"

Il titolare, Enrico, è stato molto cordiale fin da subito, nonostante fossimo arrivati un paio d'ore prima del check-in abbiamo potuto comunque lasciare i bagagli in albergo che ci sono stati depositati nella nostra camera. La camera piccolina ma accogliente e munita di tutto ciò che serve, molto pulita e ordinata; la posizione è veramente ottimale a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e a 5 dal centro. Vivamente consigliato

"Wonderful Stay with a Great Host"

Enrico was an outstanding host, helping me to secure the museum tickets that I needed, as well as an early morning taxi. The breakfast spread that he put out each morning was also superb. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was also surprised to see that the bed was made each day after I returned from a full day of sightseeing. I really have only good things to say!

"A due passi dal centro"

Questo B&B è un posto ideale per tutti coloro che hanno intenzione di visitare il centro e le attrazioni più importanti della città. Si trova vicinissimo al centro, cinque minuti a piedi e sei nella zona pedonale. La struttura è stata ristrutturata da poco tempo, quindi tutto nuovo e pulito. La camera è molto comoda, accogliente e calda (noi siamo stati a Capodanno e fuori la temperatura era intorno allo zero). L'accoglienza è stata superlativa, Enrico è una persona carinissima e disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa nostra. Vicinissimo c'è un posticino che fa delle ottime schiacciate (SandwiChic al primo posto su TripAdvisor), consigliato dal mitico Enrico ci siamo tornati più volte. Nei dintorni tantissimi locali dove mangiare sia per il pranzo che per la cena/pizza. A 20 mt. c'è anche un comodo garage per chi ha l'auto. Giudizio complessivo ottimo, lo consigliamo vivamente.

"Un gioiellino nel centro di Firenze"

Il B&B è di recente ristrutturazione e molto pulito. I particolari della stanza molto curati e il bagno grande e con una doccia enorme! L'ambiente è caldo e tranquillo e la colazione ottima e abbondante. La struttura, inoltre, è comoda per visitare il centro ed il personale molto cortese e disponibile. Le fotografie del sito corrispondono precisamente agli ambienti. La prossima visita a Firenze sarà senz'altro di nuovo alla Stella d'oro!

"Lovely place!"

We were looking for a last minute booking for Florence, and we found this hidden gem in the old city! Lovely charming and authentic! This new familial bed and breakfast was a great experience for us! We've spent there such a nice week. First it's in an old beautiful building of the 17th century, then the location is really ideal, you're close to everything, we never took a car or a bus, you can even walk from the central station. The rooms are big, very clean and so elegant! You can feel that those people are happy to have you. And when you wake up the first morning you realize that everything is fresh, homely made, even the fruit salad! Enrico, the owner of the place is always here for you, printing your vouchers or helping you in finding a good restaurant. You really feel like home! We even had the privilege to try typical tradionnal florentine food prepared by la Mamma!!! We really recommand you la Stella d'Oro for a confortable and friendly stay in Florence!
